I want to go to Lincoln, ne and receive the big ten network on my portable tv. I can take my vip211 receiver there but I don't know what dish to use for reception. I have a vip 500 dish available. will it work? thanks, chas

Lincoln, NE uses both Eastern Arc (61.5°) and Western Arc (129° & 110°) for its local TV stations, so you'll be able to use your 500 dish which should pick up 110°.

thanks for the help. I took the dish out, mounted it temporarily, hooked up a 311 receiver and checked out the switch and then positioned it. worked fine. now I will test the vip211 to morrow. chas
