Prayers goes out to the family and friends.

Very sad story here,
Indy car racer Justin Wilson dies after getting hit by debris from another persons wreck.
Remember Indy Cars have open cockpits.
I don't know how often other drivers get hit with debris, I have never heard of it happening but I don't follow Indy like I do NASCAR.

I've been a fan since his days in Formula One a dozen years ago. I saw he was racing for Andretti Motorsports.

This falls into the "freak" accident category that can happen in a thousandth of a second. I was watching the race earlier but there were problems at work and I had to head in. Otherwise, I would have been watching when the accident happened. I'm not sorry to have missed it.

Wilson's death comes five weeks after the death of Jules Bianchi, who passed away as the results of injuries he sustained in last year's Formula One Grand Prix of Japan (Formula One driver Jules Bianchi, 25, dies).

Justin was considered highly by his fellow drivers. AutoWeek has a couple of articles on-line:
Rest in Peace, Justin.
