Initialize Pansat 3500

My friend Larry finally received a signal and scanned in channels, but no video appeared on any of them. The following transponders were found while performing a scan using a Pansat 3500 receiver. He believed he was on EchoStar 3, but these transponders don't seem correct. If he had been on EchoStar 3 he would have received Dish Net FYI at 12355 and JSTV (Jesus Satellite TV) at 12384. He is completely frustrated after trying for the past three days to receive a signal.

Aren't we all overlooking the basics? He is in the right place but with the wrong LNBF. He has a Universal and needs a circular to see the Dish Net FYI and JSTV! Just make sue he sets the L.O. to 11250 with a circular LNBF.

we don't know exactly where he is. Like I say, if he is aiming straight south he is getting AMC9 (83) and Nimiq2 (82) and not 61.5
