install help

hi im trying to install for the first time. i am new to fta. i have a dish 500 and viewsat 2000 extreme. i have angled my dish to the correct area i think. but the signal strength just sits at 71% even if i am the thing the wrong way it really stays at like 67-71. anyone know what going on? my zip is 23606. using azimuth 242, skew 129 elevation 31.

You won't get much FTA with a 20" dish (Dish 500). What are you trying to pick up?
