I would like to get DirecTV service at my home in Connecticut. I have used a compass and it looks like I am OK with azimuth but there are trees in the area.

Is there any way to pay an installer to come out and be sure I can have a triple LNB dish (because I want HDTV) as I would hate to buy the equipment online first then find out from the installer that there is a problem.

Thanks.

Should be try here.......

Tell them you want a professional site survey for all available satellite services, I do them ALL the time and I charge $50, I use a professional site survey tool for the evaluation this service can save you a LOAD of hassle and days off work!

The site survey tool is a combination of a compass and an inclinometer, you could always buy a compass and make your own inclinometer!

Your best bet is to find a local retailer that employs their own installers.
You can usually get just as good a deal and these guys will be there to service your system if necessary.
