Interesting... Tomorrow DIRECTV will start offering their commercial customers ESPN Ala Carte. Does this mean we will see Longhorn and Fusion tomorrow as well?

---

STARTING TOMORROW, YOU CAN OFFER MORE FREE HD HARDWARE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS AND EASIER ORDERING OF ESPN A LA CARTE!

We’re giving you more ways to help your customers enjoy DIRECTV in crystal clear HD! Beginning 10/2, you can offer Public, Business and Private Viewing customers up to 4 HD Receivers FREE!

Also on 10/2, ESPN a la carte will be available in all ordering systems. That means you and your customers no longer have to call Customer Care to add it. And just as before, you can still receive additional PPC when you add it to select packages!

Here are all the details:

Up to 4 FREE Receivers Offer (Up to 4 HD or 4 SD):
Eligible packages:
Public Viewing: COMERCIAL MÁS ULTRA™ PACK, COMMERCIAL BASIC™ with International Add-on
Business Viewing: COMMERCIAL BASIC™ with International Add-on
Private Viewing (will receive up to 1 HD and 2 HD DVRs; or 4 HD): BUSINESS CHOICE™, BUSINESS ENTERTAINMENT®, BUSINESS INFORMATION®, COMMERCIAL BASIC™ with International Add-on
ESPN a la carte available in all ordering systems on 10/2 for Business and Private Viewings
Available on the following packages:

BUSINESS INFORMATION®
BUSINESS ENTERTAINMENT®
Price: $20/mo. and requires a qualifying base package

Available on POL, HOS, BVN and FIR account types only
Don’t forget: when you add ESPN a la carte to the above packages you will receive an additional PPC!

For customers who can't decide between BUSINESS ENTERTAINMENT® with ESPN a la carte or BUSINESS CHOICE™, here are two compelling reasons why BUSINESS CHOICE™ is a better value:

More Savings – Installation is free and on average, a customer will save over $140 in the first 24 months
The Best Programming – BUSINESS CHOICE™ includes Regional Sports Networks and 40+ more channels, including: beIN Sports, FOX Deportes, MLB Network, NFL Network and more

No, the alacarte ESPN is due to Dish offering a watered down package to public viewing accounts such as sports bars.

With Dish you sometimes pay less to get less, and Directv is basically doing the same thing not to loose customers who otherwise don't realize that Directv is a better value
