What are some ways to catch channels from Europe, here in United States? I live in Pittsburgh, PA and I got Globecast so I can watch Romanian channels. Unfortunetely those are special programming channels for Romanians abroad, and are subject to lots of regulations. For example in Romania there "TVR". Here they broadcast TVR International. Whenever TVR broadcasts a soccer game, TVR International does not always pick it up. I'm sick of missing all these soccer games due to regulations.

What can I do to catch the channels straigt from Romania like: TVR, ProTV, Antena 1, Telesport?

welcome :wave

other than moving over there, there really is nothing you can do. The satellites over there are aimed just at that area (and due to the earth being round) :)

The beam for the satellite only covers a specific area

What about this?

By looking at this map it looks like the below the horizon line ends on the east coast of North America. I know a lot of Romanian channels emit on Intelsat 10-02 at 1.0°W

Would any dish be able to pick this up from the US east coast?
