iPhone XR app won't register

New customer trying to get the Directv app to work so I can take my content with me and watch live tv. The app recognizes my genie but I cannot register my phone. It will not allow me to select the register now button.... nothing happens

any issues I should know about

Several people have reported this problem with the XR.

This seems to be a XR thing. People with Tivo are having the same problem getting the XR to register there also
