Irish football channel?

I was talking with a friend the other day and he was telling me how badly he would love to catch a sports channel he used to get while living in Ireland.
I'll try to confirm the name of the channel in the future but was wondering if anyone knows of something like that on FTA.
I think he said it was something like IRE or ERIE, something along those lines.

Long shot but thought I'd ask.

If he talking about Setanta, the US version went belly-up about a year or so ago. There was a ITC version at 101 but it disappeared with the company. Still available in Canada if he wants it that bad, I guess he do a grey market subscription (if those are still doable).

I searched google and here so am guessing that RTE Two isn't on FTA anywhere.
