I am curious what you guys, that have technical know how think. It appears to me, that the Star Choice picture connected by component, is slightly better than Dish connected by HDMI?

For me it is at least as good the the DVI output they have. If you have a TV or receiver that upscales the anaolg signal the component output could actually be better.

That might be the answer. They're connected to a Sony 1080P.
