Is my monitor off?

Hey, I'm trying to figure out my monitor color settings, and am wondering if my color is off somewhat. My laptop is running XPpro for the last 8 years, IE7 maybe? and I'm kinda used to the way things look on it. 17 inch wide screen.

Well, I just purchased a new computer with windows 7 home prem. on it, running IE9 and found a used LG 22 inch Flatron on craigslist. The display looks fantastic, but the colors are different than on my old laptop.


Questions:

1. What color is the "airbrush" bluish color at the top of this page supposed to be? On my old pc, it's near carolina blue/sky blue, but on my new pc, it's closer to teal. Both pc's are using satguys default scheme.
2. On the link bar just below the gold sponsors; "HOME::FORUMS::NEW POSTS", etc, the words are white on the old, and light green on the new.

Anyway, if Scott or others could shed a little light on my situation, I'd appreciate it.

1) Its supposed to look like Blue Sky
2) Letters are light green

Great. Now I gotta figure out how to calibrate my display. One more thing on the to-do list.

Also the page colours depend on which "style" you're looking at.

I'm all good now, thanks. Changed the RGB settings on the monitor a bit; bumped up the blue 5 points, and shaved the green 5 points. The site looks normal now.
