Can I use the orby dish for FTA ?
Worked Sunday on Monday the 1st bye bye. Dvr local still work sat dead.
Yes, the Orby dish uses a linear lnbf so it can be used for FTA. It is similar in size to the DirecTV Slimline dishes so it should pick up the channels one of those can get when they are modded for FTA use, like 97W, 95W, etc. :)

P.S. Welcome to Satellite Guys!

thank you I have an FTA receiver pre programmed for 97W. So I just point the dish and I am good?

Correct, if the receiver is preprogrammed. Just make sure it is set for an LO of 10750.
