Is the Bell 9241 not the same receiver as the Dish 722K?

I was looking at canadian friend's setup and asked if he ever used the PIP or used the receiver for 2 rooms. He said that didn't know what I was talking about. When I checked, the receiver could not do PIP and it did not have a TV2 out!

I thought that all of the Bell receiver were simply Dish receivers with different software. Did Echostar make the 9241, a cheaper version of the 722K, just for Bell?

Am I correct in thinking that the 9241 will not do PIP at all because there is no 2nd output, should I use the TV's PIP, and the receiver did not respond when I pushed PIP.

The 9421 is a rebranded Dish 612.

yeah the 9241 is a 612...dual tuner but single output
the 9242 is the 722....dual tuner dual output

Close, its really a 622 as the hard drive is smaller, what else would you expect from Bell
