Is there an Lnb which allows one RG6 cable to feed an HR21 and get both tuners ?

The SWM will...you use a satellite grade splitter (up to 2200MHZ) to split to both tuners

the swm lnb on the slimline dish will power up to 8 tuners ...a single cable to the swm input on the hr21 will power each tuner in the unit... the swm cable has 8 channels on it...the cable can be split with a swm compatible splitter... each swm compatible recvr will pick a channel or in the dual tuner dvr's case (pick 2 channels) to use for its tuner...

you can do 4 dual tuner dvr's or 8 single tuner recvrs or any combination to equal your 8 channels...nice deal ... but you are limited to only 8 tuners on the swm lnb......


if you need more tuners, there are other ways to do it using other swm type of equipment ....this is for Directv only .....

With SWM, the Satellite 1 input will feed both tuners through an internal splitter, no external one is needed.

DN uses a separator like you said ... DTV uses an internal splitter

a lot of new technology these days....

im waiting for the wireless dish....
