It appears that sky angel may very well "go under" either way at this point. Unless they have made enough $$$ picking up the Canadian subs to offset the US ones they have/will lose.
They started out by alienating their lifetimers with the special 4 nonsense. They skyangel/nancy has already said the lifetime ends with DBS. IPTV is not an option for many due to the internet requirements. Add to that those who have already jumped ship to glory star. Then there are those who are confused/angry over the lack of info from skyangel being made available to their SUBSCRIBERS. General news announcements in obscure papers just doesn't cut it with most people.
I seriously feel like they are stringing people along to get every last dollar out of them before they "officially" notify anyone that DBS has been canceled! Why have subs leave for glorystar early? Look they are not even being upfront wiht those yearly subs that are up for renewal!
Just how much notice do they plan on giving people? After all people will need to purchase and install high speed internet, IPTV equipment etc. That can't happen overnight.
My dish equipment can be used for dish family, glorystar equip can get FTA stations, what use would the new neulion equipment be if neulion and/or skyangel go belly up?
