Jack Ramsay, a Hall of Fame coach who led the Portland Trail Blazers to the 1977 NBA championship before he became one of the NBA's most respected broadcasters, has died following a long battle with cancer. Where some the best catch phrases he was known for when he because the Miami Heats color analyst. I was a 76ers fan growing up when Miami did not have a team, and he was a little boring in Philly. Still had GREAT insight of the game, but very vanilla. When he came to the Heat, he was MUCH MORE imaginative and colorful. They say that the coaching mentality finally disappeared and he was much more relaxed. I enjoyed his game....
