Joey 4.0 Upgrade Request

why own vs ?? i think our h3, joey 4k, and 2x joey 3 are leased ??
curious, and thank you ..
(our bill is up there pretty good, 250, locals, no other premiums .. we have an antenna connected also, just for backup)
When you own, you can "turn" your receivers on and off when you're not using them, saving on line lease fees.
$250 seems pretty high?? What packages/channels do you have?

Do you want to buy a soundbar is a sales pitch.
Your TV volume is on 99, and you know it's probably bothering other people in the house. I can fix that, is a recommendation.
We teach viable and sensible recommendations, not sales pitches.
My last Joey 4 upgrade, the installer wanted to know if I was interested in a sound bar. I have heard smart home and surround sound

we got our system for ZERO out of pocket using CC rewards vs paying 150.00 for the hopper and 50.00 for each joey... sometimes it makes sense to own other times it don't
an owned joey is 5.00 and not the 7.00 our hopper is 10.00 and not the 15.00...
only advantage is you can add things and remove rooms when not in use..
if you have a mydish acct you can look on it under the my equipment section.. it will tell you if it's leased or purchased!!! all of ours says purchased..
owning vs leasing if all your doing is a box swap you don't have to deal with techs coming in and selling you crap as well

keep in mind depending on where you buy everything so that you get rock bottom pricing!!! a 6 room setup can run you close to 1000.00 before taxes  . and that would be new or remaned numbers cleared and good to go not like some of the sketch stuff on ebay.. i would buy yhe hopper from solid signal and the joeys from dish themselves since there the cheapest and solid signal is the cheapest for the hoppers

Last guy in my home tried to get me to buy their sound bar, even after I pointed out my 7.1 system. How can someone that clueless hold down an installation job?
I have a Sonos Playbar, sub, and rears and a JVC System that was replaced by the Polk System. The JVC is older and doesn't sound as good. The Sonos is older and doesn't have volume leveling, plus the PIA it is to use the app for everything so while I agree with you, I have replaced tons of in-place sound bars and full systems that were dated or the speaker wire was a nightmare or just didn't sound as good. I tell my guys, it never hurts to ask.
