My room has my 3rd string audio system, Sony SB 1000 speakers with a "boom box" for center (sounds better than anything else I have till I can get a good center & upgrade the rest...)

Interesting... on my 110" mits FPTV I do not see grain on some titles... on this set I do (not a bad thing)

It does have amazing PQ ... back to Stargate Atlantis Rising, grain and all...

Trying Dish on this set (I have a 50' Hdmi cable) Colors are a little more vivid on the same channels...

How's your thought on compression PQ between the two.

Watching fox native from Directv and upconverted to 1080p hard to say, have to wait for some motion on the race... on my other sets Directv does have the edge, but if you didn't know which was on you couldn't say.

Instead of watching 3D, I'm watching HD content from many sources from an external drive from my PS3 (some 3D) this set still impresses me... I hope the Black Eyed Peas 3D stuff is released on a full disc soon

Watched the HD DVD version of Heroes the unaired pilot last night, looked amazing on this set...

Heroes did have good PQ. Too bad the writing did not match

Flipping channels last night and came across Fail-Safe on the Sony Movie Channel... excellent PQ.
