Is it just me or is it quite annoying that you can't pause one tuner and switch to the other? Once you switch whatever you just paused goes back to live TV. Does anybody know where we can make suggestions to Dish on software upgrades?

I believe that with single mode, you can do this. I've never used single mode so mayhaps someone can confirm this.

Of course, recording what you're watching while you're watching it avoids this issue.

You can even start it 'after the fact' by rewinding then pressing 'Record', then fast-forwarding back to 'live'. Just delete the recording as soon as you're done with it.

Or by hitting "Record" and then choosing "Record Entire Event" from the options menu, assuming you've been watching since the beginning.
