Just got 622. I'm going to try to install myself.

I'm scheduled for installation on March 25. I can't wait. I'm going to try to install myself. Any advice? I am going to substitute for a 501 with a dish 500 and a SW44 going to 3 tvs.

I beleive if you try to activate it, so you can see HD and other channels the csr will cancel your install, You dont say where you are and i assume you only have 1 dish 500 pointed at 110 and 119.
That will mean you wont get any hd channels on either 61.5 or 129 as you wont have that dish installed. so you may want to wait.
Just my opinion.

You're going to swap the 501 fo rthe 622??? Is that your only receiver?? What type of Dish do you have and how many lines do you have coming from the Dish???? I'd take Dragons advise, probably run into some problems with the seperators, dyplexers and more than likely the download.
