Install scheduled for 05/10/2004 8-12 and I'm following all the guides but heres my question.

61.5 is south east and from this thread http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=12332
the guy talks about using 12 and 10 as a guide as far as dish pointing. Is this correct ? I know it's a rough estimate but I don't want a dish farm and not going to get rid of *D until a pvr comes out as my wife loves the TIVO. Can't wait to see all the programming. I signed up for the lease with VaVoom !

I have also attached a couple of pics of my present dish set up so you can try and help me. My dish is the back yard and at present is looking over the roofs of mine and my neighbor. I never have a rain fade problem at all.And I'm trying to find out if I can put the new dish on same pole or will I have to go to another area. I don't want to stick the thing on my house that is only 3 months old.

Thanks
Trin

Looking at your pictures with all the trees adjacent to the present pole mount, and the fact that you need to turn the V* dish into them (yes or no?) to get the 61.5 degree bird, it looks like you'll have to relocate the mount. It also depends on where you are located when it comes to declination of the dish. If your on the east coast it will be much easier.

You just need to have a SE line of site...if you do, pick where you want to mount it before installation and prep as much as possible for smooth sailing.
