I have a 12 foot C/ Ku dish that is peaked and I can get good FTA DVB signals from K5, but I can not get K5 / 600 to come in on my 4DTV equipment.

I downloaded the new channel maps and the receiver has K5 and channel 600 on K5, but nothing shows up on that channel.

Any idea what is wrong ?

Does anyone have the manaul settings for freq / polarity / and how to enter them.

I know there is a hidden screen where you can enter channels, but can't find it.

Also, what is the conversion formula for that screen. The values seem to be the IF's of 950 mhz to 2.5 Ghz, not the actual transmitt freq's from the sat.

I would really like to be able to manually add channels and I need to know how to convert the C & Ku freq's to the IF's that the 4DTV receiver needs.

Thanks in advance.

Bill

the thing with K5 600 is its stubborn. On my 905 I select it and let it sit for a minute or so. It will pop in then.

If you have the newest maps it will work just fine

Manual entry of freq's

Do you happen to know the caonversion formula for entering the freq's manually ?

Thanks

Bill

yep

for KU:
frequency that is published minus the LNB LO

for C-Band
5150 minus published frequency

so as example OETA

11792 frequency
10750 LNB LO
1042 IF frequency (or what you should type in when doing a manual entry)
