no more FTA on AMC6
I think this info. is correct. AMC6 (an old military sat.) has been bought up by a fairly new Company, SKYfx, a new one way sat. internet provider(only in business for 1 1/2 years). I have one on order that wont be shipped until Monday. Wait until you see the deal these people are offering. I'll be doing a good review as soon as it gets here and gets set up. Yesterday when I called, looking for a tracking #, they told me that they had just bought up all the rest of the transponders on that satellite, so I guess there wont be anything else on that sat. My dial up speed hasn't been over 14.4kbps in over a month. I'm really tired of waiting for the satellite guys pages to turn. we'll see what the next month brings. Harold I still havent figured out how to put my info in that box at the bottom, but I have a 1.2M geo sat pro dish with a standard lnbf hooked up to a Neusat 6000.
