Actually, Universal produces and owns the two FBI spin offs, Sony does the same for S.W.A.T.

CBS and Universal co-owns the original FBI show, hence why it is still on.

Those two and Severance (not clicking as much for me this season, but still a great show) are going to win all the things.
I am enjoying S2 Severance quite a bit more than S1. A lot of behind the curtain reveals.

I am way late to this party, as I have not been on the forums in quite some time. I am finally getting around to attempting to catch back up with some things on here. Landman has definitely been a very pleasant surprise for me. Being a longtime fan of Billy Bob Thornton is what initially drew my interest to the series. I have also enjoyed the performances of Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Andy Garcia, Mark Collie and the rest of the awesome cast. Hopefully, the announced third season will come around relatively soon. Two thumbs WAY up for this series. Here's hoping that enjoys several more seasons well into the future.

Key Details for Season 3
  • Production Schedule: Filming is expected to begin in April/May 2026.
  • Release Window:Following the pattern of previous seasons, a premiere in November 2026 is highly likely
    .
    • Production Status: The show was officially renewed in December 2025.
    • Cast: The series is expected to continue with its main cast, including Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore.

Note: While the November 2026 timeframe is expected, creator Taylor Sheridan's busy schedule with other projects could potentially impact the timeline
