Hi , guys wondering if anybody can recommend the best laptop for programming Dreambox 7025 which can have the following accesses & slots shown below :-

1 - Serial Interface RS 232

2 - ETHERNET Interface

3 - USB connector

4 - Null Modem cable

5 - PCMCIA for Modules Insertions

6 - Processor speed 3.6 GHz

7 - Hard Disk capacity 250 GB

8 - RAM 1 GB

I am not sure why you mention a "laptop to program DB", because any laptop will do and you don't need anything beyond normal. Just search the internet and find whatever that satisfies your needs. Linux installs on any laptop. You can even use Windows on it and run your compiler inside an emulator. A serial port might be a problem these days to find as vendors don't have them on slim sized laptops, but why do you need that? DB has Ethernet port and you can access it through telnet, ftp, file share, etc.
