I am trying to steal...help me

i am just hooking up and have a strong signal from 2 transponders. when i tie in my diseqc switch i get no output. i have the ports correct in the menu sat 1- port 1 sat 2 port 2 what have i missed??

I assume you are talking FTA or C-band? What are the hardware makes & models of your setup?

You might get some faster and better answers in those areas. Just hang tight in this thread, I am sure a mod will be by to move it.

dish size
what you are trying to pick up
etc

running two dishes 76cm on 119 18 inch on 110. viewsat extreme receiver.. all working well till i connect to the switch. then no signal to reciever. i have selected the corresponding port in the installation mode for each sat but not working. does the recieiver have to be out of install mode for this switch to operate??

What signals are you trying to pull in? That would help us out.

110 and 119 on a non dish receiver sounds like a thief to me.
