Does Legacy technology work with a VIP 722 receiver? I have a Dish 500 pointed at 119 & 110 and a dedicated dish pointed at 61.5 and all LNB's are legacy. I'm currently running a (2) 721 and (1) 5000 receivers. The VIP 722 which I'm waiting for will replace the 5000. I'm using (6) 2 way splitters each with a power pass port and a DC blocked port, (2) sw64 switches and (3) Feed Through Loads to supply the signal to my receivers. The receivers recognize the switch matrix and see all 3 satellites with strong signals. Thanks for your feedback!

As someone already answered your other thread just like this one, yes. The 722 has the same DishPro Plus, legacy-compatible technology as your 721, you can run it with two feeds from the SW64.

Yes. Legacy LNBFs and switches are fully compatible with all new recievers, and a bit more reliable in the long run.
