Local channel guide updates?

How do local channels update the guide on Dish? I read that ABC is going to air Black Panther tonight commercial free. I would like to record it, but my local ABC channel, WKGO San Francisco, still shows Celebrity Family Feud at 8:00PM when the movie is supposed to air.

I am seeing Black Panther on KGO at 8PM on my guide right now. If you still don’t see it, unplug your receiver and then plug it back in. The reboot will force a guide update.

Let me go back on what I just said. I was looking at the Dish KGO. Looking at the OTA channel it says something entirely different. You could do a manual record on channel 007-1 starting at 8PM and end it at 10:20. It may well change in a while but you can ensure the recording by going manual.

The guide now shows Black panther for both the satellite and OTA channels.
