Well that's a first. My advice actually worked out. Mark the date.

Little secret, if you refuse to pay the tech visit fee three times(on the phone atleast) and do so politely, 9/10 times they will waive it without hesitation. Other factors may come into play, like if you have had $1000 credited to your account the last 12/24 months, if this is your 5 technician, and each time notes indicate you refused to ts, etc. but your average customer just has to politely deny paying it when setting appt up, and they will take care of you.
