I don't know if this is new or old news but I was searching the guide and notice that channels 380 through 390 were ABC East, ABC West, NBC East, NBC West, CBS East, CBS West, FOX East and Fox West. I was wondering if this will be the new HD channels for locals? Anyone now anything about this?

Those are more than likely standard definition distant nets. The HD CBS channels are in the 70 range.

Channel 380+

If you get a network waiver to watch out of your local market, you will get New York and LA network stations in the 380+ range. Those are all standard def signals, nothing at all to do with HD. If you don't get a waiver, then those channels will not be accessible.

If you do get the waiver, AND you have HD equipment AND you subscribe to the HD package, then you'll be able to watch those same New York and LA HD broadcasts in the channel 80+ area.
