Looking for newest Viewsat Extreme factory firmware..

Hi all. Tim got ahold of a Viewsat Extreme for me for free. Looking to get rid of the "questionable" firmware on this thing. I've looked around but I can't seem to find it. Any sites that have this firmware are not sites I want to join. Can anyone help me out. The original firmware would be fine but the newest or best version would be better. Thanks guys.. Amy.

What you have is probably the last factory firmware. These units were made for the hacking market and from what I have read the company has been shut down. I know it is not what you prefer but if the unit works for fta then I would just leave the firmware in place. I have bought a couple of receivers on the after market that have had hacker software and have left it on there. They work and I am afraid I will kill the unit if I try to update the software with the latest firmware.
