looking for ringtones create SW

Can anyone steer me in the direction of some good SW to create your own ringtones? Looks like Cnet has some , but which is better? Thanks for your input.

If the phone supports MP3s, just edit an MP3 with a generic audio editing tool then copy it to your phone. Some phones have file size limits to block you from putting an entire song as a ringtone, but if you have Windows Mobile you can make a registry tweak to allow bigger files to be used.
