Losing channels on 1 transponder on only 1 receiver!

Came home from being away for the weekend and my 6000 receiver is not getting channels from transponder 6 on 119. My other receivers are all getting them. Adv Tech Support wants me the switch out the receiver with another in that location thinking it might be a cable. I think it may be in the receiver itself. I'll try the switch out tomorrow. Anyone have any ideas, experiences like this?

It may well be in the receiver. Replacing the receiver will tell the story.

6000 is bad, DISH is sending a replacement.
