Just visited Telstar 14 for the SC PBS channels, a screen says Satellite Signals will cease July 31,2011 and
all programs will be streamed from a new sc-pbs website. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I thought they were all uplinked by SC-PBS, though I haven't actually seen pbs programming on all the channels at once. DW-TV was on the 5th channel this morning, and I think it was Create on the 4th channel in the mux. Most likely it is the $$$ it costs them to keep the satellite booked. With the economy in the mess it's in, I am not surprised, and we may see more channels bite the dust, if they can find a cheaper means of delivering their content.

How are they distributing their HD channel? It's not on Telstar 14.
They increased their signal and the mux comes in fine now in Northern California.
