I lost 97 a few weeks ago, it's a fixed dish and I tried to troubleshoot the problem. I had to reposition the dish to get the sat back and when I did alot of the transponders are blank. I had to move the dish alot, not just tweek it
so Im wondering if some of the channels moved to a different sat and I am picking it up a different sat than 97?

Give us a few more details about your set-up. Is this dish for Ku band or C?
Dish type? Size? Brand? LNB(F)?

Using old Coolsat 6000, 90cm dish, just replaced lnb today, same results, was watching Press TV until 2 weeks ago with no problems, now it looks like it maybe scrambled, everything on that transponder 11.960v looks scrambled. I thought maybe they went to MPEG4 but did not
find any info on the internet

No problem with PressTv here.
Thanks, I finally got it just now, remembered I had to add skew to the LNBF on this fixed dish, still dosen't explain how the dish pointing got moved, guess that's what happened sense most channels are back now.
A good website with updates on channels that have moved, scrambled or went to mpeg4 would be great, most I looked at are alittle
out of date.

A bear or deer thought it looked like a good scratching post?
or Kids?

I use this site as a nice customizable channel viewing guide/ programming schedule, click on the logos for freqs etc..:

That's my main worry. There have been 6 bear in excess of 800lbs killed in PA including a record 879lb one not too far from here just a few years ago. There's been one wandering through the yard this summer and one destroyed the neighbor's bird feeder he'd just put up the day before. If they decide they've got an itch my 90cm dish wouldn't stand a chance. Fortunately he wouldn't be able to reach the other two dishes (I hope).

Thanks for the links, we do have black bear around here just not that big. This dish was on 3" steel pipe bolted to 20x12 heavy sundeck and added a
extra stabilizer and in unaccesable place, only thing I can come up with is maybe the deck shifted a little which isn't likely,

I have a cure for bear problems. It's called a 12 gauge shotgun with rubber buckshot. A load of that in the butt and they get out of Dodge. Doesn't kill them, but sure makes their hind end sore for a while. :) Before I started using the rubber buckshot, they were on my porch nosing through my trash cans. I went out one nigh without a flashlight when I heard a noise, opened the door, though it was a dog in the trash. Walked out there to give it a swift kick in the butt, and found out it was 200+ pound black bear.

I don't know who scared the other the worst, me or the bear. He took off one way, I went the other. I've never went out again without a pistol when I hear a noise at night.

Lookee who showed up this week, again. One neighbor got a pic of the footprints and another got a video of it walking behind our house (we weren't home at the time). From the trail it left it checked out every bird feeder in the neighborhood but they were all empty. Why he/she isn't in hibernation yet I don't know, it's certainly been cold enough to chase him/her inside.
