lost channel on one sat. why?

hi guys,

i added on a wing dish for 61.5 and now i find that 'USA' is now coming from that sat location. is there a way to receive USA from 119 again and still keep the wing?

why? well because 61.5 is a bit weaker. . .and just for my knowledge

receiver is a vip222k

There is no way to force your stb to choose one satellite over the other.

I wouldn't worry about it. Even if it is weaker the signal strength doesn't matter unless it actually causes you problems. Even then, if your 61.5 gets taken out then the receiver will tune to USA on 119. At worst you'll have to run a check switch.

That is exactly correct, from my personal experience of having duplicate channels on 61.5 and 110/119...
