Lost dolby Digital through HDMI

Yesterday I turned on the system and had no sound. After some playing with my receiver I got the sound back but through the HDMI cable it is only stereo when before it was dolby digital. I still get dolby digital EX from other sources such as Bluray but no longer through the 622. Any ideas?

Hmm you might try hard reboot unplug the receiver for about 5 minutes then plug it back in power up. Then check sound see how it goes also might check see what version of software your 622 is on.

Or you could try an HDMI reset Menu-6-3.
