Lost Internet Connection on Cinema Connection Kit

I had a wireless connection, but turned off my WiFi router for a few weeks and have been unable to restore the connection.

After fruitless sessions with "Network Setup", I surrender.

At one point the setup displayed a list of ONE wireless network -- there are several in the immediate area -- but I was unable to connect. I entered my wireless network name and Network Setup found it, but would not let me connect -- wouldn't accept a password that all my other computers accepted.

Is this a job for a DirecTV tech?

You could call them, but I've found that despite what the user manual states, this device works just fine hardwired. If you have an ethernet connection available give that a try.

Power-cycle the wireless adapter at the receiver (not the router). Often, power-cycling resolves issues with network equipment.
