Lots of Database errors

We use raid 10 on several of our servers and iSCSI setups. Safe and fast speeds with raid 10. But I agree you should not have been seeing too many errors with a single drive failure. Would be slower on reads and writes but should still run. Page fault errors? have you tested the memory in the server? Just a wonder on my part.

We did a memcheck the other night, it showed up ok.

It definitely was a flaky drive, other things that were not working (the arcade) started working again upon install and remirror of the new drive.

I don't understand it... but it works.

I have been monitoring the server since the new drive went in and no signs of any issues like we have been having for the last 6 days.

Looks like we were down about 30 minutes a little while ago.

Yup something happened at our COLO center. The problem was not our servers. PHEW!
