In an FCC filing opposing the NAB’s plans to sunset ATSC broadcasts, the LPTVBA said broadcasters should not be forced to convert to ATSC 3.0

So maybe LG will be forced to put ATSC 3 tuners back in their TVs, pay that royalty fee, and all future royalties that come up from people crawling out of the woodwork?

Or stop making TVs, make only monitors (no tuners at all).
