S.H.I.E.L.D. Recap: Skye Meets Her Maker — Plus Scoop on That Return https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/h-e-l-d-recap-skye-meets-her-020030961.html
This week on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Skye got the 10-cent tour of the Afterlife, Nick Fury’s “toolbox” fixed a broken relationship and Coulson called in for very special “backup” when Gonzales’ team closed in on him and Hunter.MOM’S THE WORD | Having summoned sightless (?) Gordon to whisk her away after she quaked all over Bobbi and Kirk Acevedo, Skye woke up to a most unusual “acupuncture” session, which she learned was to help her finish healing from her transformation. Her “transitioner,” Lincoln (played by The Tomorrow People‘s Luke Mitchell), says the place that she has been taken to is called “Afterlife,” and that for everyone’s safety only Gordon knows the way in/out. Lincoln explains that most of the people there have been waiting to be “chosen,” but Skye “jumped the line” — and via the old-school method, with a diviner in a Kree temple, the first time that’s been done in thousands of years!

According to a new report, ABC and Marvel are in discussions about making a spinoff to "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD."
Entertainment Weekly broke the news that "SHIELD" executive producer Jeffrey Bell and writer Paul Zbyszewski are working on the proposed project. Beyond that little is known, though EW does say that story elements being introduced in Season 2 will be used as set up for the potential series, though there won't be an implanted pilot episode.

‘Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD’ Spinoff in Early Development https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/marvel-agents-shield-spinoff-early-development-205153288.html Marvel Makes Plans for 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Spinoff https://games.yahoo.com/news/marvel-makes-plans-agents-h-170100680.html
Looks like we might be getting another Marvel television series on ABC. Entertainment Weekly has reported that Marvel is planning on a spinoff from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. No further information is available except that it's being developed by AoS executive producer Jeffrey Bell and writer Paul Zbyszewski. It's believed the show could begin as early as next fall or possibly as a midseason show. Despite these plans, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hasn't been officially renewed as ABC hasn't made their official decisions yet. What could the show be about? What about the members of the "real" SHIELD?
imo I don't see how this will work when this is getting ok ratings but better than the 1st year!! :)

'Agents of SHIELD' EP on Melinda May's Past, 'Civil War' Connection https://www.yahoo.com/movies/s/agents-shield-ep-melinda-mays-past-civil-war-153117355.html
Agents of SHIELD has seen a major shake-up as Robert Gonzales' (Edward James Olmos) "True SHIELD" staged a successful coup against Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg).Since its midseason return, ABC's SHIELD has delved into whether it is ethical for the organization to determine what to do with those who possess abilities. Should they be hunted and locked away or should they be left alone?Tuesday's episode will tackle this very question by taking a trip back in time as viewers finally learn how Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) became known as a The Cavalry, a nickname May constantly shows her disdain for. With the anti-powers sentiment growing within SHIELD, The Hollywood Reporter caught up with executive producer Jeffrey Bell to discuss SHIELD 2.0 and the series' connection to next year's Captain America: Civil War.

Ming-Na Wen of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Talks Agent May Day.......On the latest big reveals in "Melinda," and women in the Marvel universe http://www.pastemagazine.com/articl...n-of-agents-of-shield-talks-agent-may-da.html
Since day one, the hard-nosed Agent Melinda May has been one of the most popular characters on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., not to mention the most mysterious. Veiled references to a past incident in Bahrain and an unwanted nickname (“The Cavalry”) were vaguely implied to have affected her in a big way. This week, we learned the whole truth (spoilers ahead)—Melinda’s soul (and marriage) had been crushed after she was forced to gun down a young “gifted” girl who had lost control of her powers, as well as her mind. May’s actions, as well as the guilt that came from them, affected her permanently, and those long-dormant feelings will likely play into her role in dealing with the emergence of more super-powered “inhumans” (including her SHIELD teammate, Skye). Paste caught up with Wen to talk about her character’s explosive past and possible future.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "The Frenemy of My Enemy" Review: Forget What I Said Last Week, Everything's Coming Together https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/agents-h-e-l-d-150400271.html
There's the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I know and love! Last week, I voiced concern that the series was dragging its feet with regards to several of its many concurrent storylines. That criticism wasn't to say the series was bad or that the stories were poorly developed, it just meant the series had several balls up in the air that didn't appear to have an obvious destination beyond Powered People Problems, Am I Right? Luckily, "The Frenemy of my Enemy" changed that, when it quickly and easily positioned Ward in Coulson's orbit before weaving their combined story into the fabric of Skye's ongoing identity crisis. The result was an incredibly fun hour that pushed our heroes into the beginning stages of the final act of Season 2 and returned the focus to the Hydra threat that's been looming just off-screen for weeks.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: ‘The Dirty Half Dozen’ – Spoilers Discussion http://screenrant.com/agents-of-shield-season-2-episode-18-review/
Last week’s episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, titled “The Frenemy of My Enemy“, featured Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) teaming up – albeit grudgingly – with former ally Grant Ward (Brett Dalton). Along with Agent 33 (Maya Stojan), Leo Fitz (Iain de Caestecker), Lance Hunter (Nick Blood), and Mike Peterson a.k.a. Deathlok (J. August Richards), Coulson attempted to track down Skye (Chloe Bennet) using a Hydra insider.Meanwhile, Skye traveled to Milwaukee with Cal (Kyle Maclachlan) in an effort to get to know her father. They were followed by fellow Inhuman Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) and attacked by Hydra forces. Although Coulson’s team attempted to intervene, Deathlok and Lincoln were captured by Hydra. With no where else to turn, Coulson surrendered to the so-called “real” S.H.I.E.L.D. headed by Robert Gonzalez (Edward James Olmos).

'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Sneak Peek: Coulson vs. the Inhumans https://www.yahoo.com/tv/marvels-agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d-video-preview-118087615205.html
The Inhumans movie doesn’t come out until 2018, but if you want to follow the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of mutants (another studio owns the rights to the X-Men and anything mutant-related), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the place to do it.Since revealing her true name (Daisy Johnson) and powers (seismic energy manipulation), Skye’s had a love/hate, incarcerated/escaped relationship with S.H.I.E.L.D., choosing to fall in with the Inhumans, whose motives are still unknown. In this sneak peek at Tuesday’s episode, Skye attempts to bridge the gap between the two groups, using her knowledge of the “Cavalry” situation with Agent May to sway her and Coulson. It also looks like the secret that Agent Gonzales has stashed away in his helicarrier is an Inhuman. Are they on the same side? Or will S.H.I.E.L.D. find itself opposing a growing super-powered population?

'Agents of SHIELD' EP on Jiaying's Big Move and the Mystery Behind the Kree Stone https://www.yahoo.com/movies/s/agents-shield-ep-jiayings-big-move-mystery-behind-050045090.html
[Warning: This story contains spoilers from Tuesday's Agents of SHIELD, "Scars," and Avengers: Age of Ultron.]War is coming between the Inhumans and SHIELD.During Tuesday's penultimate episode of ABC's Agents of SHIELD, Coulson (Clark Gregg) revealed the truth behind the mysterious Theta Protocol to be a helecarrier that was hidden away only to be used in a case of emergency — as seen in feature counterpart Avengers: Age of Ultron. With Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) recovered from his time held captive at the Hydra base, Coulson arranges a sit-down between SHIELD and the Inhuman leader Jiaying (Dichen Lachman). Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) meets with Jiaying on the behalf of SHIELD, but in an unexpected turn of events finds himself impaled with pieces of a Diviner when Jiaying destroys a Terrigen crystal in front of him. To cover up the murder, Jiaying shoots herself in the shoulder twice and proclaims war against SHIELD when her Inhuman compatriots arrive.

‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Spinoff Not Going Forward At ABC https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/agents-h-e-l-d-030752618.html
I hear ABC and Marvel have put the brakes on the proposed Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff. The project was supposed to be set up by events from this season of S.H.I.E.L.D. and toplined by Season 2 cast additions Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood, revolving around their respective characters Lance Hunter and Barbara “Bobbi” Morse, aka Mockingbird. ABC and Marvel had no comment. The project had been developed quietly by S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producer Jeffrey Bell and co-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski.S.H.I.E.L.D. fans have been divided by the spinoff, and there had been some backlash to the idea of taking some of the strongest new characters on S.H.I.E.L.D. away from the mothership series. There was an inkling that the spinoff might not be going forward when ABC tonight renewed both existing Marvel series, S.H.I.E.L.D. for a third season, and Agent Carter, which bridged S.H.I.E.L.D.’s half-seasons this year, for a second.ABC and Marvel also are secretly working on a potential series with John Ridley, who will be busy with a second installment of American Crime, just picked up by the network.quote]

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Spinoff Is D.O.A. https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/agents-h-e-l-d-165520745.html
Embedded within the flurry of renewals and new series orders issued by ABC on Thursday night was the non-announcement that the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff had died on the vine. The prospective offshoot was said to pivot off a storyline unfolding at the end of this season and revolve around the characters of Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse (played by Adrianne Palicki) and colleague/sometime-beau Lance Hunter (Nick Blood).Other buzzy ABC pilots failing to get out of the gate, per our sister site Deadline, include the multigenerational family sitcom that would have reunited Vacation‘s Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo, that NBA-based and -blessed comedy and the Revenge-y Kingmakers, while The Broad Squad may get reworked for future reconsideration. Are you relieved that S.H.I.E.L.D. will keep Bobbi and Hunter?

‘Agents of SHIELD’ Goes to War in Action-Packed Season Finale (SPOILERS) https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/agents-shield-goes-war-action-packed-season-finale-033006767.html
The two-hour “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” finale certainly didn’t scrimp on action, capping a season in which the ABC series continued to do a synergistic tap dance – operating within the confines of the broader Marvel universe – while pursuing an extended plot involving the fate of Skye (Chloe Bennett), whose origin story became a season-long theme. After a rocky first season, the program benefited from expanding its cast, the shrewd use of guest stars and an embrace of serialized storytelling. While it’s clear “SHIELD” won’t be a major hit – the numbers, in fact, are fairly mediocre – it has settled into a respectable holding pattern.None of that appeared certain after season one, which arrived amid inflated expectations and hoopla; at times felt like a run-in with the enhanced villain of the week; and finally had to deal with a “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” tie-in that essentially blew up SHIELD – and by extension, the show.

‘Agents Of SHIELD’ Season 3 Spoilers: What Happened To Coulson’s Hand? SDCC Poster Reveals New Plotline http://www.ibtimes.com/agents-shiel...coulsons-hand-sdcc-poster-reveals-new-1996925
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” fans at San Diego Comic-Con will get an exclusive poster at the Marvel Television panel, but they can already see what the poster reveals. The artwork hints at Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) Season 3 storyline. The poster, first revealed by TV Insider, shows a drawing from Jim Cheung and Romulo Fajardo Jr. It seems like a normal picture that just shows off the main cast, but upon closer inspection, there is a big plot point right in the middle of the poster on Coulson’s left hand — because he isn’t supposed to have one.

Will Coulson Turn on Cap? 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Cast Talks 'Civil War' https://www.yahoo.com/tv/agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d-super-fan-questions-124197920460.html
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hit its creative peak during the epic crossover with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and there’s no doubt they’re angling to recapture that magic. When Yahoo TV posed fan questions to the cast at San Diego Comic-Con, Clark Gregg refused to give the obvious answer. In the comics, Civil War is a multi-title storyline in which Captain America leads the charge against the Superhuman Registration Act. You’d think Coulson — who idolizes Cap — would be 100 percent onboard with his fight against demonizing Enhanced and Gifted persons. “But that’s in the comics,” says Gregg. With the Inhumans storyline, superpowers operate very differently on S.H.I.E.L.D., so maybe Coulson will be forced to turn his back on his childhood hero?Plus, Gregg offers more speculation about the Obelisk and answers the question: What do S.H.I.E.L.D. and Def Leppard have in common — apart from both groups having a guy with one arm?Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. on ABC. https://tv.yahoo.com/video/agents-h-e-l-d-225821637.html

More About Secret Warriors on 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Revealed https://games.yahoo.com/news/more-secret-warriors-agents-h-180700012.html
This article, More About Secret Warriors on 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Revealed, originally appeared on Comic Vine. It's been known for a little bit that Secret Warriors is coming to the next season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but fans don't know too much about who they are and why they're here. Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Coulson on the show revealed a bit more about the Secret Warriors place in the world. Gregg talked to i09 about why Secret Warriors is coming to Agents of SH.I.E.L.D. “One of the reasons why he’s putting together the Secret Warriors [is], I feel like HYDRA always ... you cut off one head and others appear. I don’t think we’ve heard the last from them. I feel like there’s some disgruntled Inhumans out there, probably, and I think we’ll expose some more of them. The whole world of SHIELD has become more fluid and changing, and Nick Fury’s out there.”What do you think about the Secret Warriors being included in the next season of the show?

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Renewed http://www.comicvine.com/articles/m...-agent-carter-bo/1100-152232/#ftag=YHF1845f42
We'll be getting more action in the past and present with S.H.I.E.L.D.The moment we've been waiting for has finally arrived. May is the month we find out what shows are returning in the fall and which will be saying goodbye. With Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, there's been some speculation whether or not both would be returning. While ratings for Agent Carter weren't as great as the studio would have liked it will be back for a second season. Agents of SHIELD hasn't been as huge as the Marvel Studios films but it has been consistent with the ratings, especially after the DVR numbers are included. There's also the rumored SHIELD spin-off possibly starring Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood as well as another 'mystery project' being developed by John Ridley only described as "reinventing an existing superhero character."Next Tuesday, May 12, is the two-hour season finale for Agents of SHIELD. Things are definitely heating up with the coming war between SHIELD and the Inhumans. You won't want to miss it.Looks like we can continue to count on more Marvel characters coming to the big and small screen in the near future.Update....Some reports are saying the Palicki and Blood spin off is dead. Nothing official on that has been released.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Has Added A New Agent http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Agents-H-I-E-L-Has-Added-Agent-74367.html
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. aired its Season 2 two-part finale “S.O.S.” back in May, and news has since been sparse about what to expect when the series returns in the fall. However, now that Season 3 has begun production, Marvel is throwing fans a bone by announcing some new casting. For the ABC series’ third outing, Bates Motel actor Andrew Howard is being thrown into the fray as a guest star.Howard has been cast as the mysterious government agent Banks, who will “challenge Coulson and his team in their mission to find and protect powered people.” This description doesn’t offer much to chew on, but it sounds similar to Adrian Pasdar’s Brigadier General Glenn Talbot. Banks will be another authority figure doing his best to block Coulson at every turn. Although Howard is the first new actor to be announced for Season 3, Banks is the second new individual that’s been added to the series, following Lash, an Inhuman villain who can absorb and convert energy.
