.. DISH Network -- Home... time has stood still. The announcements at CES still haven't happened. Dish press releases are still un-posted. Programing packages and prices are unchanged.

Every year Dish shows up at the CES as if they just heard about the show the night before and hurriedly slapped together some press releases and booth posters about things that may happen in the future. And the Dish website folks apparently go on vacation, awaiting feedback on what if anything played well at the CES. Why waste time letting your customers know what is actually going on?

So those Dish subscribers, who are actually paying attention to these mundane things, are left to endlessly speculate on the meaning of all the Dish exec's CES hot air until something actually happens or doesn't, as the case may be.

ps Anyone who wants to see how a tech savy company handles major announcements should watch the Apple website just before, during and just after Steve Jobs keynote speech at MacWorld next week.
