Every time we run the microwave it causes the sattelite to mess up like it does when its storming except sometimes it even freezes up and wont even come back on after were done with the microwave,we have to turn the tv off and then back on and change the channel and then back to the channel we were watching, tested the microwave for leaking and its fine so why does it do this?

:welcome to Satelliteguys!

I think your punctuation keys are broken! ;)
How did you test the microwave? Is it on the same circuit that the Directv receiver is? You may have an electric issue, not the microwave.

The only parallels I can draw here are two:
1) In my RV, if you run the Microwave Oven (1980's) it blocks the wireless internet signal temporarily. The signal has to pass the M.O. to get to the laptop.
2) When I had Dishnet/Starband internet combo, if people parked in front of my storefront home with their radar detectors on, I had to
visit the bar next-door and ask them to go out and shut it off because IT blanketed my starband, causing it not to work.

Other than those proven facts, I can't add much!

Exactly where is the microwave in relation to the DirecTV receiver AND/OR TV?
Are you turning off the TV or the receiver or both?
Try putting a sheet of aluminum foil between the microwave and the receiver.
Plug the microwave into a different outlet.
