Watching the news last night about it was tough for the sports guys.
WCCO (CBS) the sports guy (Mark Rosen...been there 25 years at least) broke off reading the teleprompter when he was talking about it and said "dammit cancer sucks" and you could tell he was trying to keep it together while they were running the video piece

KARE (NBC) the lead anchor (Randy Shaver) was the sports guy for 25+ years (and still does the high school football highlight show) said Flip was his neighbor and they both went through cancer (Randy went through it a few years ago) and Flip talked to him about it and he tried to keep it together
