Coming from Tivo, there are a few things I'm still getting used to on the 722. One thing that I miss is being able to press the "Play" button while playing a recording to display the "duration bar" so I can see how much time is remaining without disrupting the show. Is there an option or button that can do that on the 722? The easiest way I can find to see the time remaining is to hit "pause", but that's very disruptive.
Other than that, and the odd behavior I had with "Max recordings" (still haven't figured that out, but I just set all the timers to "unlimited"), I've been very pleasantly surprised. I was really pleased to find that I still had a 30 second skip button, I hadn't expected that. Plus it works great with my Harmony 688 remote. The dish remote is ok, but it badly needs to be backlit.
