Did anyone else notice that it said FOX presented by DIRECT TV on DISH NETWORK during the show Lie to Me on FOX 5

Also is anyone else having the "deja vu" effect at the start of most Prime Time shows on FOX
what i mean is it starts for like 3 sec and then resets to the beginning and continues on from there???
causing what is very similar to the black cat showing up and then showing up again in the MATRIX movie
They explained it as a "glitch" in the matrix LOL its hard to explain but happens at the start of most shows

also has an audio drop out or pic freeze during most programs

I think its only during PRIME TIME programs, not sure but that is only when i watch FOX :)

it not a signal strength issue or a software issue and it only happens on FOX

i even have the programed saved in my DVR to prove it showed DIRECT TV on DISH so ppl wouldn't wouldn't think i had gone nuts.

anyone else ????

i read that thread and it made sense. i already emailed our local affiliate hopefully they will address it. I can put up with the deja vu if they can make the program stop skipping in the middle. I think the two are linked somehow. Its annoying and i really wish they would get it fixed. Im just glad it's only on FOX and not more. Problem is there are a lot of show on FOX i watch LOL

Now that i know it's a local problem, ill call if i don't hear anything back from my email in a few days.

BTW thanks meStevo :)

You are seeing that "FOX presented by DirecTV" from the FOX network because DirecTV paid a fee to present the program in HD. Everyone watching their FOX local sees that.

ok, but if i dont have HD should i still see that?
and if so, ive also noticed like a barely visible almost ghosting logo in the same spot, can barely make out an HD logo...lol but i still dont have HD

also, keep in mind, im on DISH not Dtv

ok here is what i think may be going on, please tell me if i am right (i came up with this after finding reading more)
Are they using the HD feed and just cropping it to SD and trying to hide the HD logo? is that possible?

if so, i wouldnt mind if i did not have the audio dropouts and pic freezes...that is just unacceptable

That's what some networks are doing, yes, because people with small screens don't like having their shows shown in a box even though they're missing some of the picture otherwise.

As far as I know, none of my locals are having any glitches, so it must be a problem with yours.
