I'm missing an upper bracket on the mount of my 8ft dish.
Currently I have an eyebolt stuck in the place of this. (see 1st pic)
I'm guessing that this is just a simple angle bracket, but I'm not certain.
Anyone have a mount like this they could share a pic of so I can be sure what it should have?
I've attached 2 pics of the mount and just for kicks, I threw in one of the 10ft'r as well... (it's a work in progress).
Sorry about the low quality - I only had my cell phone at the time...

I'm sure the bolt would work ok, but it spins inside the hole of the mount... eventually that will wear down (maybe in 50 years?!)
I'll stick with it for now, but I'm planning to use a piece of angle and cut it to fit... soon as I get time!!

How about a picture from the other side and straight on at the area, do you see any signs of a previous bracket being attached in that area because most brackets seem to be welded on to the mounts that I've found.
I know the two Winegard dish I've gotten both have different type mounts, but the bottom part of yours does look like a Winegard mount, with different pictures maybe I can find a part for you on one of them.

Ok, I'll try and get more pics in the next couple of days... this time of the year, it's always dark when I'm home during the week.
But, there was definitely a bracket of some sort there. The vertical eyebolt is the declination adjustment. The long horizontal eyebolt is what I added. There is a bronze bushing that fits into the slot of the top mount (the long eyebolt is going thru it) so the bracket should have a hole that the bushing will fit into as well as the declination adjustment from the top. I'll also get some measurements of all this and post those.

Finally got the pics...

Well, somewhat. Told ya it's always dark now.
I think the bushing is 5/8" o.d., but not certain.
It'll be Saturday before I can get a real measurement on it.
I thought when I got this that it was a Winegard, but, having nothing to compare it to, I wasn't sure...

Hmmm.... Ok...
Just a sleeve welded to a bolthead. Hadn't thought of that.

I should be able to come up with that fairly easily.
Thanks Sergei!
