Since they only go there once a year that makes it even more significant, not less. 12 games is equivalent to 3 to 4 years.

Remember, the Dodgers were always on the top in MLB with one of the best records during most of those years. This year they suck.

Marlins catcher Ronny Paulino(notes) was suspended 50 games Friday for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance, according to The Associated Press.

Paulino said in a statement that the positive test was the result of a dietary pill he was using to control his weight (he is listed at 250 pounds). He said he was unaware it contained a banned substance.

Paulino added that he is "ashamed and saddened" about the situation.

Marlins president David Samson told reporters that all players in the Marlins' organization are told to make sure anything they take has been certified as safe by NSF International, a non-profit organzation that tests consumer products for safety. The club said it will begin a comprehensive review of how it educates its players on what substances are legal.

Paulino hit .259 with four homers and 37 RBIs in 91 games with the Marlins this season.

Remember that just because someone tested positive for PEDs does not mean they were using steroids. What MLB considers PEDs covers a broad range of drugs.

Dodgers are the same. They tend to hit better off of pitchers they have more experience against or ones in which they have better scouting reports on.

Even though he is a rookie, he is not that good.
