Baseball season doesn't start till the 1st Monday in April, like it ALWAYS should be ...Start of MLB season. All games are last years opening day games.
Enough of this jumping ahead and playing a game earlier than the rest ...
The Season should always start on that Monay and an afternoon game in Cincy.

What’s the point of a 60 game season? Better than nothing I suppose (for the players anyway), but should’ve just scratched it until next year as far as fans are concerned. Fluke teams will be making a limited playoff.

I think the point is, the Players want thier MONEY ...
Most of them expect to be paid in full for the year while only playing 1/3rd of the season.
I know they have failed to agree on just about anything schedule wise.
Did they ever say if there would be any fans this year ?

If they’re planning on quarantining every player that’s tested positive for COVID for 14 days, a lot of players in the minors may get a chance at the big leagues.
They are allowing a squad of 60 players ...
The normal 40 man and a taxi squad of 20, for such an event I would imagine.
Having a 60 game regular season is the equivalent of the NFL playing a 5 game regular season. Should be very interesting to say the least.
