I just signed up for MLBtv so my wife could get some Dodger games. I hook up my laptop via HDMI cable and get a pretty darn good picture, however the sound comes through the puter and not the tv. Any of you who might have this service have a better way? I would prefer the sound coming through the tv but if not that's ok. Thank

I am assuming Windows 7 is the OS

Right click the speaker in the task bar
Press Playback Devices
Click the picture of the TV and press Set default
Press OK

Audio should now be routed through HDMI.

When you disconnect, you will have to go through the same process except choose your primary audio card to get audio to come through the laptop speakers

You may have already considered this, but watching from the Roku is a great way with a great picture. But if you are happy using the computer that as you found out works well too. The other way to get sound to the TV is using an audio cable from the audio out to audio in of the TV. The HDMI sound from a computer does not work with all TV's for some reason. I have two LG flat panels, the older will now take sound from a computer over an HDMI, my new one does.
